We offer simultaneous piercings for children ages 4 and up when using the disposable cartridge, as long as they can stay still for the few seconds it takes. If they are moving enough that it may affect the placement, we will do one ear at a time to ensure proper positioning. For infants and toddlers (ages 3 and under), simultaneous piercings are usually not possible due to their inability to stay still. In these cases, we typically distract them with a toy or video, pierce one ear, and quickly do the other before they fully notice. Needle piercings must be done one at a time and typically take about a minute per ear. For more details on the different piercing methods, please visit our "Prices and Piercing Systems" section under "Get Pierced."
