What age do we recommend piercing?

We offer piercings for all ages, but for infants (6 months or younger), we recommend waiting until they are older or can ask for the piercing themselves and take proper care of it.

For toddlers (ages 11 months to 3 years), we have a disclaimer. While we’ve successfully pierced many toddlers over the past 18 years, we occasionally have to refuse the piercing if the child resists. At this age, children are very active and may pull out the earrings or refuse to let you clean them.

Our goal is to create a positive, memorable experience, not to cause stress or trauma. If the child resists, we will not proceed with the piercing. We do not allow children to be restrained for the procedure—they need to want the piercing and be willing to sit through it. If the earrings are pulled out, you’ll need to purchase new ones if you’d like to have them re-pierced.
