For children we recommend piercing 6 months or under or waiting until they ask for it and will let you take proper care of the piercing.
We do have a disclaimer for toddler piercings (Ages 11 months to 3 years). Although we have pierced plenty of toddlers successfully over the past 18 years, there have been many times when we have to refuse the piercing because the child is resisting. They are very active at that age and can easily pull the earrings out of their ears or will not allow you to clean them,
Our intention is to make this a wonderful, memorable experience, not to traumatize the child, so if the child resists, we will refuse the piercing. If the child pulls the earrings out, you must purchase new ones if you would like them re-pierced.
