Ages 4-17 Years
Appointments typically last between 15–30 minutes. During the appointment, we will review earring choices, discuss aftercare, and carefully mark the piercing placement before proceeding.
If you have called or messaged the studio to specially request an appointment for more than two people to be pierced, please note that this may increase the total appointment duration.
Important Information:
- A parent or legal guardian must be present for anyone under 18. Friends or relatives cannot bring a minor without the parent or legal guardian present.
- For sterilization purposes, we only pierce with our own earrings. Visit our Prices & Piercing Systems page for more details on available options.
- Minors may bring up to two adult guests to the appointment.
- Arrive on time—late arrivals beyond your scheduled time cannot be accommodated.
- A 24-hour notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
- If you want to change the piercing placement, it must be done before leaving the room. Any changes afterward will require purchasing new earrings for re-piercing.
- If you are feeling unwell, please reschedule your appointment.
- We do not allow children to be restrained for piercing. We want this to be a fun and memorable experience, not a traumatic one. If a child does not want to be pierced, we will not pierce them against their will. If a child is unwilling or unable to sit still for the piercing, we will refuse to proceed with the service.
Piercing Options:
We are a fully disposable studio, meaning we pierce only with either a disposable cartridge piercing system or a disposable needle. We do not use piercing guns, as they cannot be sterilized or disposed of and may cause unnecessary trauma to the ear.
Cartridge Piercing:
- The Cartridge Piercing System uses prepackaged, sterilized, disposable cartridges.
- Unlike a spring-loaded piercing gun, the cartridge is manually operated using hand pressure.
- The process takes only a few seconds per ear.
- For ages 4 and up, both ears can be pierced simultaneously, as long as the child can remain still.
Needle Piercing:
- A disposable catheter needle is used, passing through the ear and leaving a plastic catheter in place.
- The back of the earring is inserted, the catheter is removed, and either a front is snapped onto a flat-back stud or a seamless hoop is closed.
- This process takes about a minute per ear and is done one ear at a time.
- Restraint is not allowed—the child must be able to sit still for the full duration of the piercing.
- Needle piercings typically use flat-back studs or seamless hoops.
- For flat-back piercings, a longer post is used to allow for swelling. Once healed, you may return to have the post downsized if desired.

Numbing:
For minors, verbal approval from a pediatrician is REQUIRED to use numbing cream. Without this approval, numbing cannot be applied.
- The numbing cream contains 5% topical lidocaine.
- We offer two numbing options:
Full Numbing:
- Arrive 20 minutes early for application.
- You will leave and return at your scheduled appointment time.
Partial Numbing:
- Arrive at your scheduled time and inform the piercer that you have pediatrician approval.
- The numbing cream will be applied while you choose earrings and review aftercare.
- Ears will be partially numb, reducing discomfort but still allowing for some sensation.
Same-Day Cancellation or Rescheduling Policy:
- If you feel sick, please reschedule your appointment.
- Call 516-767-7672 or text 516-595-9240 for cancellations or rescheduling.
- Provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations.
- No-shows or late cancellations require a $25 deposit to rebook. This deposit will go toward your piercing cost but will be forfeited if you cancel within 24 hours or do not show up.
- To cancel when the studio is closed, text your appointment details to our text number, and we’ll process it on the next business day.
